The BTN & PeopleSmart are delighted to introduce the 2nd part of our discussion with Charlotte Forsyth (Chief People Officer at WorldRemit) around Strength in Diversity & Inclusion.
Charlotte looks at the leadership behaviours that can help to facilitate an inclusive culture and the role that leaders play as role models and the need to understand individual experiences as a base for building relationships. The role of emotional intelligence is brought to light, how authenticity has become a key trait within virtual environments and how engagement can be aligned to culture to bring about change.
The conversation then evolved into how WorldRemit is managing and assessing their Diversity & Inclusion efforts including looking at their customer communities, employee engagement metrics and internal working groups.
Following on from some of the initiatives that were already in place, Charlotte delves deeper into some of the newer working concepts that have been implemented, such as their ‘Recharge Days’.
