Innovative and dynamic Human Resources (HR) and Learning & Development (L&D) annual conference MERIT Summit announces its third edition. It will feature fresh formats and even more attendees than last year’s 275 international Executive Education and HR professionals, all of whom will share best practices and knowledge from diverse industries.
They will convene in the heart of Europe – the Austrian capital Vienna, on 16-17 January 2019. Leveraging academic and business intelligence, participants will explore opportunities, learn from challenges and collaborate for “Co-creating Learning Organisations” in unprecedented times of transformation.
In 2019, the MERIT Summit will draw in some 50 high-profile C-level decision-makers from large multinational companies who will shed new perspectives on the value of learning organisations, adding to the discussions of L&D and talent managers and executive education experts. As in previous years, the event is expected to attract professionals from more than 30 leading business schools and over 150 companies from around the globe. Among the first announced speakers are HR leaders from global companies such as Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, Amazon Web Services and Deutsche Telekom.
Тhe programme will span two full days to accommodate the richer diversity of topics and formats. Among them, the thought-provoking new Panel Discussion on the latest controversial topics in the corporate learning arena will spotlight the perspectives of industry experts, executive learning directors, journalists and independent consultants.
The fusion of business and academic intelligence – unique for the MERIT Summit – will again provide an unparalleled context in which to address the challenges of the global workplace in times of organisational transformation caused by disruptive advancements in automation, digitalisation and workforce dynamics.
