On Monday, 24 September 2018, The BTN, in partnership with EY, will be hosting an event in EY’s London offices for Global Heads of Learning and Talent in the Financial Services industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities they face in leading their organisation in the fourth industrial revolution.
EY will showcase some of the meta-trends driving new ways of working and discuss how you as leaders, and your current and future workforce, can thrive in the digital age. With a spotlight on the Evolution of the World of Work, we’ll explore the implications for talent and learning. And of course, we’ll have the opportunity to continue the conversation informally over drinks and nibbles.

David is London based and splits his time between consulting on workforce issues within the Financial Services sector, and being the EMEIA leader for Talent Consulting within People Advisory Services. He is frequently asked to talk on the Future of Work.
David joined EY 6 years ago as part of EY Africa’s acquisition of Resolve, a group of strategic human resources companies that he co-founded and led for 14 years. However, not all his entrepreneurial activities have ended as successfully – in 2011 he co-founded and launched SnappCab, an App-based taxi aggregator that aimed to be the ‘Uber of Africa’, until Uber decided to be the Uber of Africa! Before starting Resolve, in a fairly successful quest to never actually use his legal education, he consulted independently and took on a diverse set of roles during the South African transition to democracy ranging from political violence mediation to policing reform.
David has a BComm LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, and an LLM from Harvard Law School where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
