In the 3rd and final part of this series with Sabine Weishaupt (Future Leadership Design – Chapter Lead at Deutsche Telekom), in partnership with PeopleSmart, we look at the role of trust within virtual environments.
Sabine talks about the ‘bank account of trust’ that she believes all employees have and can then maintain, build or lose upon. Sabine also discusses some of the initiatives that Deutsche Telekom have been using to help build trust across their teams within a virtual environment, which are focused on the blending of storytelling and trust.
The conversation then moves on to the role of empathy and how this skill set can operate in both physical and virtual environments. Sabine looks at the emotional capacity that a leader should have and the link back to a leaders self-awareness.
