They are redefining the future of risk exchange with a groundbreaking platform, and are looking for an IAM Engineer to join their Product & Technology (P&T) organization. If you are passionate about securing systems, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote security best practices, this role is for you.
As an IAM Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing our Identity and Access Management processes, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to their systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain authentication mechanisms to provide secure and reliable access across the organization’s systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement roles within the IAM framework, aligning them with business needs and security standards.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure correct implementation of IAM requirements within their products.
- Continuously assess and improve existing access controls to enhance security, efficiency, and user experience.
- Manage access permissions and group memberships to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Lead regular access review campaigns to ensure user access rights are current and compliant with organizational policies.
- Oversee secure and timely onboarding and offboarding of employee access within the P&T organization.
- Support employees with access issues, providing guidance on authentication challenges and ensuring they have the necessary access to perform their roles.
- Focus on compliance-related activities to ensure all IAM practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
What You’ll Bring:
- A university degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in the security IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (e.g., SSO/SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM).
- Proven experience delivering IAM solutions for engineering organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning, especially in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Typescript) for IAM automation and integration.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, SOC2) and their impact on IAM processes.
- A problem-solving mindset, strong sense of ownership, and a reputation for getting things done.
- A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic team.
- Needs to be in the Eastern Time Zone
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry-recognized Information Security certifications (e.g., CIAM, CCSP) are an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, AWS IAM, or Auth0.
