What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Engineer to join our dynamic development team. You’ll be working on exciting projects with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications. As part of our close-knit team, you’ll collaborate with top-tier engineers, product managers, and designers to create the next generation of mobile experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain advanced Android applications using the latest technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure smooth integration of Android apps with our SaaS platform.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and third-party libraries.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices.
- A passion for clean code and writing automated tests (JUnit, Espresso, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment, balancing multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase).
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
