One of the Annapurna Giving charities, The Soup Kitchen, today unveiled a plaque for Annapurna at their headquarters at the American International Church on Tottenham Court Road, London.
The Soup Kitchen aspires to do more than just provide free food and clothing. They believe that in offering hot meals and a friendly environment, they are a stepping stone to a healthier lifestyle for their visitors. Each meal is made fresh, and has the nutritional interests of our guests in mind. The Soup Kitchen also wants to connect with their guests, which may not be available to them in any other healthy way, so they leave feeling good – not only because they’re full but because of the smiles and care they’ve received during their visit.
Annapurna send 2 members of the team every month to help out at The Soup Kitchen and Charlie Appleyard, one of Annapurna’s directors attended the unveiling today, held by Miranda Suit, Soup Kitchen Director.
