We are pleased to announce that we have donated £2.5k to The Soup Kitchen this week. We also had a meeting with the director of the Soup Kitchen on Tuesday to donate laptops. The laptops are essential to the further success and work that the Soup Kitchen does as increasingly applying for benefits is all done online.
We will be donating more money to this exceptional cause in the coming months as well as our time. Annapurna staff will be visiting the Soup Kitchen to serve hot meals as well as providing IT support to those who need it. Further details to come.
The Soup Kitchen is based at the American International Church on Tottenham Court Road and aim to help the homeless, the marginally homless and impoverished in London. They see 75 guests a day and serve approximately 15,000 hot meals per annum. For more information on the Soup Kitchen please follow this link.
