Interim Workday Payroll Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Interim Workday Payroll Project Manager to lead the successful implementation and optimization of Workday Payroll within a dynamic organization. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on professional with a strong background in payroll transformation, system integrations, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll, ensuring alignment with business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Act as the key liaison between HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors, driving effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead process optimization initiatives, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and best practices in payroll operations.
  • Manage system integrations with third-party providers, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Provide training and support to payroll teams and key stakeholders on system usage and enhancements.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in managing Workday Payroll implementations, preferably in an interim/project-based capacity.
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and global payroll complexities.
  • Experience in system integrations, data migration, and testing within Workday environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
