Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst
  • Role Purpose: The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the business objectives and technology capabilities. They will work closely with key stakeholders to gather and analyze data, map business processes (BPMN 2.0), and assess the impact of user and endpoint migrations on these processes. Their insights and recommendations will be vital in driving successful Program Slipstream outcomes and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Operational Duties:
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Identify and communicate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
    • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the project team to ensure clear communication and mutual understanding.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Gather, review, and analyze data to support project goals.
    • Collect and document information required to map high-level business processes and user personas.
  • Business Process Mapping:
    • Map business processes using BPMN 2.0.
    • Assess the impact of migration on business processes and user personas.
  • Requirement Development:
    • Develop use cases, acceptance criteria, and test steps to ensure quality outcomes.
    • Ensure project documentation is captured and managed in line with agreed ways of working.
  • Testing and Validation:
    • Participate in the development and validation of requirements.
    • Develop and execute test plans to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Develop adoption and training documentation to support end-user engagement and proficiency.
    • Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including process flows, use cases, and data models.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Collaborate effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success.
    • Coordinate activities across different project workstreams.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Mandatory:
    • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
    • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process changes, and operational decisions.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Collaborative, consultative, resourceful, and creative problem-solving.
    • Ability to work well with others and autonomously.
    • Ready to learn new skills.
    • Ability to adapt working style and focus on high-value activities to meet stretch targets.
  • Desirable:
    • Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data.
    • Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.
