Interim Data Migration Lead – Financial Services | Workday | EU Experience Required

Annapurna is supporting a major Financial Services client on a large-scale Workday transformation across Europe. As part of this programme, we’re seeking an Interim Data Migration Lead to take ownership of the full end-to-end HR data migration workstream.
This role is critical in ensuring clean, compliant and accurate data is migrated from legacy systems into Workday across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the data migration strategy and execution for a global Workday deployment
- Manage data mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation activities
- Collaborate with internal teams, system integrators and local market SMEs
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with EU data regulations
- Support cutover planning and post-go-live data readiness
Experience Required:
- Proven experience leading complex HR data migration projects in a Workday environment
- Strong understanding of Financial Services environments and regulatory standards
- Hands-on experience with EU data privacy laws (e.g. GDPR)
- Expertise in managing data across multiple geographies and legacy systems
- Strong stakeholder communication and programme governance awareness
