We welcome another insightful leader to this fascinating series around ‘Leading into the Future’, Maureen Moran (Group Talent Director at Eramet).
Within this session, Maureen looks at building a learning community, with some focus on the impact that the remote environment will have on the talent pool and the role of fairness across the employee experience.
Maureen firstly looks at the challenges around identifying talent with a virtual talent pool and the role as leaders to ensure a virtual environment is not perceived as favourable to the individuals who speak more often in group calls or are more expressive in virtual meetings.
This conversation then moves onto where fairness aligns with the employee experience with regards to the specific roles that individuals do. Maureen also looks at how fairness becomes appropriate, depending on the level within an organisation and also the length of your employment.
