Interim Learning and Development Director - London - £500p/d, London, Human Resources and Personnel, £500/day

A leading private sector organisation, based in Central London, are looking for an Interim Learning and Development Director, for an initial 6 month contract.

In the role you will be required to lead learning project teams & work with internal resources to design & deliver a framework which includes capabilities, assessment and learning paths in the following capability areas: Leadership, Management, Business Development & Marketing.

Responsibilities include:

*

Programme management of projects under Leadership, Management, Business Development & Marketing.
*

Management of a team of 3 - 4 project leads, and work with learning partners to implement frameworks in each region in line with their business priorities.
*

Provide thought leadership and contribute to development and implementation of the global L & D strategy.
*

Support the development of a global capability framework

Deliverables include:

1. Successful implementation of the manager development framework: - 4 structured programmes - Series of spotlights - On-demand learning library - Experience maps - Development planning tool - Manager development 'portal'

2. Successful implementation of the leadership development framework: - Viral change workshops - Senior executive team effectiveness - Formal development for senior leadership - Formal on-demand and leader-led development to promote 'leadership for all' - High impact coaching for high profile project teams

3. Capability framework & career pathways for business development & marketing

4. Learning mapped to capabilities across business development & marketing

Qualifications and Experience:

*

Strong HR/L&D consulting skills
*

Experience in design, development and implementation of capability and career frameworks - experience in leadership & management capability/career pathways is preferred
*

Experience of developing leadership and management development opportunities, and implementing on a global scale.
*

Ability to deal with multiple issues, assuming a detailed or conceptual / strategic perspective as required
*

Experience in producing high quality capability frameworks and career pathways
*

Decisive, action-centered, 'gets things done', able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*

Experience with agile project management or working in a agile PM environment would be a plus
*

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
*

Proven ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary team
*

Good skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
*

Proven ability in line managing learning specialists
